The heirs of the six -intro-From the dawn of the times the stars always have Attracted by their glare the human’s eyes.
These have intended more than once The decline of civilizations no one thought would die.
These have witnessed too many times The destructive will and power of mankind.
When we seat on the ground and stare at their light, It’s usually hope and melancholy that come by.
As if we were at the same time Searching into the glittering sky
The long awaited signs of a better coming And the remains of a glorious past, crying.

Afraid to flight ???

3 Days ago, I left Dubai for a 3 days trip to an offshore oil drilling platform.
I usually love flying but this time... I must say I was Scared !

The plane I took to go to Iran was an old russian charter plane. It was in really bad condition. The pilot had to start the second engine 3 times before it worked "properly" (or should I say before it stopped doing a very strange noise).

Once we took off, some smoke (obviously coming from each engine) started to come inside the cabin from the ceiling (where u put your handbags) and the crew, when we asked about the smoke replied "Normal" (They didn't really speak english and looked like russian army men...)

In the end, we survived and arrived safely in Iran to take a chopper.

But hell, I'm never gonna take a Russian plane again, that's a promise !
